Célèbre rappeur reconnu en France, Kery James a toujours tenté de faire passer un message conscient.

Cheminant entre le rap, la rue, la violence, la paix, sa foi, il n'a cessé chercher la voie de la vérité.

Son combat réside alors dans son message, ses principes, sa force et ses faiblesses, sa part de lumière et sa part d'ombre...

Sa longue carrière et la force de son message méritait un petit hommage à ma façon...

Toute la typographie est composée de ses paroles, et de mots clefs important se rapportant à sa vie. L'emplacement de certains mots sur le visage est aussi volontaire et réfléchi.

Le combat continue...

Famous rapper recognized in France, Kery James has always tried to pass a conscious message.

Between rap, street, violence, peace, his faith, he kept looking towards the path of truth.

His fight is in his message, his principles, his strength and weaknesses, his light side and his dark side ...

His long career and the strength of his message deserved a little tribute to my way ...

All the typography is composed of his text of rap, and keywords relating to his life. The location of words is voluntary.

Because Islam and Rap are important parts of his life:
Forehead:"Islam" and "Foi"(="Faith")
Right eye: "Din"
Left eye: "Rap"
Right ear: "Adhan"
Left ear: "Beat"
Under the right eye: "Ali(x)" for Ali (Islamic first name) and Alix(First name)
Under the left eye: "James" (Nickname was "Daddy Kery" when he was young, and "Kery James" after)

Because his life is also marked by the death of his friends:
Cheeks : "Las-Montana"/"L.A.S", "M.A.D" and "DJ Medhi" (Nicknames of his dead friends)

Other:
Forehead: "octo 1985" ("october 1985" year when he comes in France in boarding)
Forehead: "Ideal J" (Name of his first crew)
Forehead: "Mafia k'1 Fry (="African Mafia" for the name of his a collectif of rappers)
Forehead: "Réel" and "Savoir et vivre ensemble (="Real" and "To know and live together" for names of his album music)

it's really stunning how you had give to the artwork so much perspective only using word.
And I really appreciated that all the world you used are sensible keyword.
That's a lot of people that made portraits with letters but I never seen a research like yours about the subject's life.
